55+ population Reduction in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and Lake Worth

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Every year about this time, the population of 55+ communities in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Lake Worth and West Palm Beach gets reduced by about 40%.  It’s wonderful to have our snowbirds come in the autumn or winter but there are pluses to the population change in springtime.

Two things are for sure.  With the population reduction

  • You can probably drive to your destination in half the time
  • You can probably get into you favorite restaurant without a long wait.

A trend that we see regarding snowbirds that at first, they spend about 3 months a year in their 55+ community.  Eventually, that expands to 4 or more months.  Eventually, after the grandkids are grown, they make their 55+ community home a full time home.

If you want to know more about the more than seventy 55+ communities,
